Well, I just disappointed the legend Mr @cspealler. I wanted to get 25 rounds of “Cindy” in the allotted 20 minute window. He told me I could get that “EASY”. I told myself I would not look at the clock until I finished the 25th round. When I did….it said 21:52. Dang it. I forgot how HARD this workout is. If you have not attempted Cindy in a while I recommend you do. The push-ups are miserable. #CrossFit #CrossFitLinchpin #RogueFitness #BTWB
Nothing fancy going on here. I’ve said this before…I’m a total wimp on the bike. I will run until I almost black out, but for some reason when the bike starts to hurt I just can’t hang. So, this was my personal hell. I had a best round of 22 calories and a worst round of 12! (By the way, this is all I’m doing today. When I can’t train my mind wanders. How fast can this be done? At my best I would be happy with 5 minutes. I know people can go sub 4 minutes, even sub 3 minutes. Who can go sub 2:30…anyone? The intent is to run so fast that you doubt your ability to do the wallballs without breaking them up and/or vomiting. The 3rd round is where it all caught up to me and the wheels began to fall off. My fastest 400 was 1:14 and my slowest was 1:45. After the workout I felt sick for about ten minutes. @crossfitlinchpin #CrossFitLinchpin #MaliceAforethought #RogueFitness #BTWB
I worked up to 245 on the bench press and then hit the workout. The original workout is from #CrossFit.com and calls for push press instead of bench press. Going overhead definitely would’ve been a cooler workout in my opinion, but that was not in the cards for me. #CrossFitLinchpin #MaliceAforethought #RogueFitness #BTWB
I started with 225. During the first round I planned on doing the set of 10 as 4-3-3. I did 4 reps and then I attempted to clean the bar to do a set of 3. I was already so tired I had to squat clean it and FAILED. Oh well, I stripped the bar to 205 pounds and struggled through the workout. I put 90 pounds on the prowler and sprinted it has fast as I could. Speed, not load was the focus. The rest between sprints was probably about a minute. @ianwittenber beat me on the 4 round deal. Go as hard and fast as you can to get the 10 calories. It is intended to be an all out sprint. This was so bad. I did it with a great crew this morning. Not fun, but effective. I used 45 pound dumbbells. Someone will ask so let me state for the record….NOTHING was unbroken. Haha. The 1st set was 35-5-5-5. The 2nd was 20-5-5-4-3-3.
