We’re only a few hours away and, even though we only know a few of the workouts so far, we have had a look at this year’s gear for the Games.
These will be the most multi-cultural CrossFit Games to date and the international atmosphere can be felt all over Madison.
Athletes from all over the world have been posting pictures of their arrival, their welcome bags and the kit that was inside them.
Have a look at some of the kit the Games athletes will be wearing in the next couple of days.
Check in time is always a fun experience!
I’m excited to compete at the Games and am ready to give it my best no matter what the new format turns out to be! The Games will always be about the unknown, so you just have to focus on the things you can control! #crossfitgames #Italia pic.twitter.com/Cmy6KDSLdt

Growing up I was always taught to “Act like you’ve been there before” when it comes to performing on the big stage. But in this particular case, I haven’t, and another chance is never guaranteed. With that being said find me wilding out on and off the competition floor from now until Sunday here in Madison. Three days until showtime. Let’s party.
CrossFit CEO and Founder, Greg Glassman, welcomed individual qualifiers and National Champions to Madison at an Athlete Welcome Dinner last night, where he told them: “You return home a hero regardless of what happens in the workouts. You’re a hero at home. You’re a hero in my heart. You’re a hero in this community.”
