Gavin Ritter, Plainfield High School alum and recent graduate of DePauw University, has been a member of our Unbreakable community for 3 years. Gavin was looking for accountability and results, and he found that within the walls of UAA. He finds it is much easier to train with driven (and fun loving) individuals. Previously he had tried other methods of training and they just weren’t working well for him, and he wasn’t seeing the results he desired. After training with us for one week, Gavin knew that it was a great fit and he was going to walk out of our gym a better athlete. Gavin is a self-described nerd at heart. Outside of training, he enjoys video games, and movies (especially Star Wars and Marvel). It is no surprise that he also loves to be active. He plays golf frequently, and has started to pick up playing Pickleball. Gavin received the maximum scholarship that was awarded at DePauw for academic excellence and is starting law school with Indiana University this fall. Gavin has worked hard and recovered from a broken hip injury he suffered in high school during a football game. He still deals with limited mobility due to this injury, however he has PR back squat of #405, and a #285 split jerk. His bench max is #335. One of Gavin’s proudest accomplishments is being awarded the Tiger Award for his 2020-2021 college football season. It recognizes outstanding qualities of sportsmanship, competitiveness, and the desire to succeed on the DePauw University varsity football team.
