Ice Breaker returns to Unbreakable again for another test right before the CrossFit Open begins. This year there will be three registration options: Rx, Scaled, and Masters (age 40+). The format is still two-person, same-sex teams.
Rx & Masters: anything goes. The Masters class will have lighter weights and slightly less gymnastics components.
Scaled: Weights will be lower than Rx. Movements you will not see: TTB, hand stands of any kind, muscle ups, DU’s, rope climbs. You could see pull-ups in standard WODs. You could see rope climbs in the finals.
There will be 3 WODs + 1 team floater WOD. The top 4 teams in each group will advance to the finals. Scoring is cumulative for all events.
Tie-breaks are decided by a head-to-head dead hang competition.
Prizes to anyone on the podium.
